Mobile Deposit it now available for most Android devices as of 6/5/14.

The Android device must be running version 4.0 or higher of the Android operating system and have a 5 mega pixel, auto focus camera which is capable of capturing a close up image suitable for the Federal Reserve to accept.

Android devices which have been found to not have a suitable camera will not be offered the Mobile Deposit feature. If your Android device fails to focus properly on the check you will receive a notification advising how you may improve the focus on your Android device. If you are unable to correct the focus issue on a particular Android device you will need to use another device to make the deposit as the check images must be sharply focused to process your deposit.
