How can I make external transfers to other bank accounts?

You can use Online Banking to make transfers to external bank accounts. You'll need to setup the initial transfer while logged into Online Banking on a PC or mobile browser (not our mobile app). After the account is setup for external transfers, you can initiate transfers in our mobile app.

Here's how you can make transfers to external accounts using your Oregonians account:

  1. Log into Online Banking on a PC or mobile browser. 
    • If you haven't registered for Online Banking and you have your account information, you can register here; otherwise, give us a call at 503.239.5336 during business hours.
  2. Click the Bill Pay tab from within the left-side vertical menu. 
    • If you haven't already registered for Bill Pay, check the box I Accept and click the Continue button for both agreements.
  3. Click the Transfer Money tab in the top horizontal menu.
  4. Click the hyperlink Add an Account (under Transfer Money With Other Financial Institutions).
  5. Enter the requested information for the account you'd like to transfer money to and click the Add Account button.


It takes up to two business days to setup an account for external transfers. Our Bill Pay service will make two test deposits and one test withdrawal that you'll confirm in Online Banking. After the account is setup, transfers you make will process within one business day.
